Elaine and Jason- Downtown Wedding- Wilmington, NC

Elaine and Jason. October 13, 2012.

It is not very often that a couple gives me butterflies when I see them together. When I first met them and learned that they met while in Chemistry class, I was instantly smitten. I felt that we were kindred spirits. (My husband and I met in a Marine Algae class).  I loved Elaine’s bubbly and excited personality and Jason’s ‘Go Ahead. Impress Me.”  attitude. I knew that they were a perfect fit for me! I loved that Jason and Elaine’s wedding was so simple, and classic. They even had chemistry beakers as vases at their reception. LOVE. I was impressed with the little touches and their willingness to go all over Wilmington with me for pictures. I gave them some quiet moments in the garden behind the church. After, we frolicked in a giant field of white wild flowers, and trekked across an old downtown bridge before ending up right in front of there reception site, The Riverboat Landing, for some great sunlight shots. At the end of the evening, they released a Wish Lantern over the Cape Fear River. It was a magical evening and I hope they continue to enjoy adventures together, while keeping their silly, infectious love alive.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. McDonnell. You guys are the best!
